Anna Makarova – Performance, Hyejin (Prima) Lee – Guitar

In a seven-minute solo performance, Käthe Kollwitz’s graphic works are translated into physicality. Drawing on the artist’s central motifs, the embodied images oscillate between protection, mourning, and resistance. The slow transitions from pose to pose generate a unique rhythm structured by repetition and variation.
Body and music enter into a reduced, intense dialogue, hovering between stillness and inner movement.
What does it mean to adopt these postures today?
What remains visible when the body itself becomes the bearer of collective history?
